Orange 9mm’s ‘Pretend I’m Human’ to receive first ever vinyl edition

Hardcore legends Orange 9mm weren’t around for long, but their debut album ‘Driver Not Included’ truly raised the bar in terms of aggressive crossover sounds. Their subsequent albums weren’t quite as sharp, but both ‘Tragic’ and ‘Pretend I’m Human’ continued to showcase a powerful act, never willing to tread water.

Their third full length album, 1999’s ‘Pretend I’m Human’ reached out to a core of fans, but was rather overlooked by the world at large. By 2001, it was out of print everywhere and has become increasingly hard to find.

Paradise Lost announce new live release and share new video clip

Last November, everyone’s favourite UK goth metal band Paradise Lost performed via a live stream. Well received by fans, the show can now be enjoyed by a wider audience via an upcoming CD and blu ray release.

‘Live At The Mill’ will be released via Nuclear Blast on 16th July, but you can watch a clip of the band performing ‘Darker Thoughts’ below.  Full details of the upcoming release, along with confirmed tour dates – virus allowing – can be found in the following press release.

Devin Townsend announces second volume in “Devolution Series”; shares new video

Following on from his ‘Acoustically Inclined: Live In Leeds‘ limited release, Devin Townsend has confirmed a second limited edition live album ‘Galactic Quarantine’.
Sourced from various online shows which replaced the ‘Empath’ tour, the new release will be issued as a CD/blu ray release and on 180g vinyl LP.

Watch the new video from Talk Show Host

When billing as power pop punk, the new single from Toronto’s Talk Show Host might seem like an oxymoron, but in many ways, it’s a fairly accurate description.  ‘Crisis Actors’ features the kind of buoyant vocals – and vocal filtering – you’ve come to expect from so much twenty first century pop punk, but musically, the track comes with much bigger boots.

Radio Days share new single featuring Kurt Baker

Italian power poppers Radio Days waved goodbye to 2020 with an excellent three track release, ‘I Got A Love’, presenting two very sharp self-penned tunes and a spirited cover of The Jam’s ‘In The City’.  Although bite-sized, the release gave fans everything they could hope for from a new Radio Days disc.
