The succint release managed to share their variety of musical styles and all the excitement of 2019’s ‘The Return of Space Girl’ into a much smaller package. For fans, it would be a reminder of how much energy an on-form Bad Mary can muster, and for the uninitiated, a varied introduction to a great, underground band.
Kite Thief announce UK tour dates
Kite Thief gained some hugely enthusiastic press in 2023. Championed by Metal Hammer, Kerrang! and Total Rock, as well as gaining airplay on several BBC regional stations, the band’s crossover sound connected with an enthusiastic audience. Armed with one of the year’s best singles in ‘Judge Judy and Executioner’ and some equally huge sounds on their debut EP, the band seemed set to make 2024 an even bigger success.
