Feist to play two UK shows in March 2012

In support of her new album ‘Metals’, Leslie Feist is to return to the UK in 2012.

The Canadian singer-songwriter (and sometime member of Broken Social Scene) will play the following dates:

Royal Albert Hall, London – March 25th
02 Apollo, Manchester – March 26th

‘Metals’ is Feist’s first new work in four years. It was a commercial success reaching #2 in Canada and the top ten in France, Belgium, Germany and the US.

Two Door Cinema Club to headline NME Awards Tour

Northern Irish indie rockers Two Door Cinema Club are to headline the 1012 NME Awards Tour. Other bands and artists set to appear include Metrimony, Tribes and Azealia Banks.

The tour takes in the following dates and venues next February:

The Stone Roses confirm festival appearances

Following their reunion last month, The Stone Roses’ UK shows sold out in minutes.

Fans will be pleased to know the band have also been confirmed to headline at a couple of festival shows. The band will headline Scotland’s T In The Park, which takes place between July 6-8th and Spain’s Benicassim Festival the following week, July 12-15th, 2012.

Symphony X to play at Swedish festival

Symphony X have been confirmed for the still growing line-up of the “Sweden Rock Festival”. The New Jersey band join Motley Crue, Lynyrd Skynrd and Danko Jones on a bill which will eventually include over seventy live acts.

The festival takes place on June 6-9, 2012 in Sölvesborg, Blekinge. So far, the following bands have been confirmed.

Greek progressive metal band Sunburst have released a video for their new track ‘Beyond The Darkest Sun’, which can be seen below.

The band – which features members of other Greek metal outfits – is currently working on a debut album.
