Awooga release new video for ‘Temporal’

Sheffield-based riffmongers Awooga continue the promotion for their upcoming second release ‘Conduit’ with a new video.

The new clip compliments ‘Temporal’, the opening number from the new disc. In many ways, its dense sound and heavy riffs hark back to their previous EP, making it both the ideal opener for the album and a perfect introduction to the band for the unfamiliar.

Legendary punks 7 Seconds announce split

When people talk about US hardcore punk, they invariably talk about Black Flag, Agnostic Front, Minor Threat and the earliest days of Bad Religion.

Nevada’s 7Seconds – formed by brothers Kevin Seconds and Steve Youth – were an equally important component of the scene’s formation.  Via albums like ‘The Crew’ (1984), ‘New Wind’ (1986) they influenced a generation of fledgling musicians.  Whilst later albums took a more melodic route, the band never lost their knack for delivering a potent message.

Brian Wilson and Dub Pistols added to line-up for 2018 Victorious Festival

This year’s Victorious Festival already looked like one of the year’s best events, boasting appearances by Paul Weller, Lightning Seeds, Bluetones and Billy Bragg.

It’s just got better, with confirmed appearances from both Dub Pistols and the legendary Brian Wilson.  It’s not yet known whether Wilson will play a varied set or the whole of ‘Pet Sounds’ as he has at other recent shows, but his appearance at Victorious really adds something to an already impressive bill.

Twelfth Night: More details emerge regarding forthcoming 3CD ‘Fact & Fiction’ deluxe

At the beginning of 2018, it was announced that this year would finally see the release of the long anticipated 3CD ‘Definitive Edition’ of Twelfth Night’s ‘Fact & Fiction’.

The original album has long been a favourite for fans of the Reading proggers, and for those fans who’ve purchased previous albums as definitive editions, each passing month suggested that the newly expanded ‘F&F’ could be the best of the lot.
