Tour dates from As The Crow Flies, a new band featuring ex-Black Crowes man Chris Robinson
Not content with only fronting the Chris Robinson Brotherhood – an excellent jam band bringing the spaciousness of Grateful Dead to other retro styles – Chris Robinson, the one-time Black Crowes frontman – has formed a new band, As The Crow Flies. The main reason for this? He’s got a great catalogue of songs that deserve live performances; much loved songs that wouldn’t necessarily fit the Brotherhood ethos.
What’s more, there’s a string of US live dates scheduled for April and May.
Camel tour dates! ‘Moonmadness’ to be played in full!
Given Andrew Latimer’s intermittent approach to work over the past decade or so, a rare sighting of Camel is always something to rejoice. In September 2018, Camel fans have reason to be very excited when the band will embark on a short run of dates and the live set will include their 1976 masterpiece ‘Moonmadness’ played in full. Check out the new video from As Sirens Fall featuring Skindred’s Benji Webbe
As part of the promotion for their second EP, As Sirens Fall have issued a new video for ‘In My Mind’, featuring Skindred frontman Benji Webbe. A great crossover track combining the band’s own melodic metal/emo style with various reggae breakdowns, it’s a superb showcase for all concerned. The song has been called a “battle cry” with it’s big chorus hook and frontman Mikey has claimed that making the video was “absolute insanity” since the band “shot enough footage to make a short film”.
Sleeper announce a string of tour dates for 2018
Following their four much celebrated appearances at the Star Shaped Festival, the recently reformed Sleeper announced a headline show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire scheduled for December.
Very much gathering momentum, Sleeper have now confirmed a run of live dates for next year. Details of dates and venues can be found on the poster below.
