Limp Bizkit: Stampede of the Disco Elephants??!

Following being dropped by their record label after 2011’s ‘Gold Cobra’ fell short of expectations, Limp Bizkit have found a new home at the US hip-hop label Cash Money Records.

Reports are circulating that Durst and co are working on new material for release before the end of the year. In addition to a follow up to 2005’s ‘Unquestionable Truth’ EP, fans can expect a new full length album.

While none of this news is open to question, REAL GONE suspects that the proposed album title – ‘Stampede of the Disco Elephants’ – is nothing more than a rumour.

Until this can be confirmed, you can read a review of the last Limp Bizkit LP here.

Vindictiv recording third album

It has been reported that Scandinavian rockers Vindictiv are in the studio recording their third album. The album – provisionally titled ‘Cage of Infinity’ – marks Vindictiv’s first new work as a band since ‘Ground Zero’, released on Escape Music in 2009.

At this time, no other details are available.

It may have been nearly three years since the last Vindictiv release, but guitarist Stefan Lindholm has kept himself busy with his Firecracker side project (read a review here), as well as appearing on the fifth instalment of Tom Galley’s Phenomena project (both also available via Escape Music).
