Pennywise to release new album in May

Skate-punks Pennywise are to release a brand new album in May.

The band, active since the late 80s have gained a devoted following through constant touring over the years.  This new collection of songs – the band’s tenth studio album – is the band’s first studio release isince 2008.

Gaslight Anthem to play one-off UK show

The Gaslight Anthem have announced they are making a one-off appearance in the UK this summer.

Prior to the release of their fourth album, Brian Fallon and co have scheduled an intimate performance at London’s Koko on June 11th. Fans can expect to hear material from the new album.

Gaslight’s 2010 release ‘American Slang’ was the band’s most successful album to date, peaking at #18 on the UK album chart.

Mastodon to release strictly limited 7″ for Record Store Day

Mastodon have revealed they will release a 7″ containing two unreleased tracks next month.

The 7″ single will feature the metal band covering ‘A Spoonful Weighs a Ton’ (originally by The Flaming Lips) and ‘A Commotion’ (originally by Feist) and issued on Record Store Day.

As a Record Store Day release, the 7″ will only be available from select independent retailers on April 21st. Feist will also release a 7″ on Record Store Day featuring her cover of Mastodon’s own ‘Black Tongue’.

InMe: new video and remaining tour dates

Taken from their 2012 album ‘The Pride’, UK rockers InMe have unveiled a new video for the song ‘Pantheon’.

To support the release of their new album, InMe are currently mid-tour on a trip around the UK which takes the band to dozens of towns and intimate venues.
