Dinosaur Jr: New video for ‘Watch The Corners’ posted online

Ahead of their tenth studio album ‘I Bet On Sky’, the legendary Dinosaur Jr have posted a new video clip online.

The video is for their new single ‘Watch The Corners’ and stars comedian Tim Heidecker of ‘Time & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!’

This is not the first video clip to appear within the last week combining a rock band and a comedian, since Nickelback also launched their video clip starring ‘Seinfeld’ man Jason Alexander a few days previously.

‘I Bet On Sky’ is Dinosaur Jr’s third release since the band’s 2007 reformation and once again reunites the original line up of J Mascis (vocals/guitar), Lou Barlow (bass, vocals) and Murph (drums).

The album is released in the UK on September 17th and has the following confirmed tracklist:

The band are currently touring the US until the end of October. There are no UK dates confirmed.

Swedish punks Refused to visit Australia for the first time in November

Later this year, Swedish haedcore punks Refused are to play live dates in Australia for the very first time.

The band broke up in 2004 but reformed in 2011 and have been touring on and off since. They’ve now confirmed a short run of Australian dates for November.

The confirmed shows are as follows:

November 9th, Metro, Fremantle
November 11th, Eatons Hill Hotel, Brisbane *
November 13th, Enmore Theatre, Sydney *
November 15th, The Palace, Melbourne
November 17th, Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide *

Kill Devil Hill: new video interview posted online

Kill Devil Hill, the project featuring ex-Dio/Black Sabbath drummer Vinny Appice and ex-Pantera bassist Rex Brown released their much anticipated debut album in May 2012.

At the end of August, Vinny and Kill Devil Hill guitarst Mark Zavon caught up with PureGrainAudio in Quebec.

New video interview with Evanescence’s Amy Lee

After a spell out of the spotlight and a shift around of the band’s line-up, Evanescence returned with their third studio album in 2011.

This summer, the band are headlining the Carnival of Madness tour in the US, with support from Chevelle and Halestorm.

When the tour reached Grand Rapids, Michigan Amy Lee gave an interview with local radio station WGRD 97.9 FM. You can now watch the entire eleven minute chat below.

‘Evanescence’ reached #4 on the UK album chart, providing the band with their third top five album. In the US, the album peaked at #1, making it the second of the band’s albums to reach the top spot.

Two Door Cinema Club have announced a string of dates for early in 2013.
