At the end of 2017, Watts tried to convince us they were ‘All Done With Rock & Roll’. They then took a little time out to work on other projects before returning with a string of singles cementing their reputation as one of the greatest retro sounding bands of the era.

A Place To Bury Strangers return with new single and video
It’s been three years since A Place To Bury Strangers released new studio material, but everyone’s favourite New York noisemakers return in July with a brand new EP release, ‘Hologram’.
As part of the early promotion for their long overdue return, they’ve shared the lead single ‘End of The Night’, along with an accompanying video.
Check out Nuclear Winter’s cover of the Mötley Crüe classic ‘Wild Side’
Nuclear Winter – the one man metal project masterminded by Gary Stautmeister – is set to return in May with a full length album, ‘Greystone’. They play squarely into the hands of novelty and spend most of their time being vulgar. There are at least three dozen reasons why their schtick just shouldn’t work. However, looking beyond beneath the crassness, buried somewhere beneath the shock value, you’ll find a raw as hell garage rock band that are actually worth listening to.
RECORD STORE DAY 2021: Real Gone’s Top Picks (Drop 1)
After living through something that’s felt like a perpetual groundhog day, it’s felt like a long year, to say the very least. In other ways, it really doesn’t feel like it’s been that long since the scramble for David Bowie related items during one of the Record Store Day events of 2020.
This year, the RSD shenannigans are held across two days – 12th June and 17th July – with a varied selection of items available during each event. As always, we can’t tell you where your desired goodies will be stocked or how many copies will be floating around, or give you a definite price (anything quoted below is an educated guess), but we can offer an opinion on what we feel are the year’s coolest collection fillers.
These are our top picks for the June event (RSD Drop 1).
