Sin City Sinners: new Xmas video now online

Sin City Sinners – the trashy rock band featuring Faster Pussycat’s Brent Muscat, Raging Slab’s Rob Cournoyer and Todd Kerns of Slash’s band (and Canadian rockers Age of Electric) – have just released a festive collection.

‘A Sinners Christmas’ features the band’s takes on various yuletide numbers, while also boasting an array of guest performers (including Stray Cats man Slim Jim Phantom and Love/Hate’s Jizzy Pearl, among others). To promote the album, the band have released a video clip for ‘Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’, which can be viewed below.

Girlschool confirmed for Swedish festival

Girlschool have been confirmed for the line up of the 2012 Sweden Rocks festival.

They will join Blue Oyster Cult, Symphony X, Slade, Motley Crue and more at the four day event which will host more than seventy acts.

In 2011, Girlschool re-recorded their 1981 breakthrough album ‘Hit ‘n’ Run’ to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Raveonettes to release strictly limited fan-only b-sides and rarities compilation in December

The Raveonettes are to release a compilation of rarities and b-sides in December.

Released on December 15th, the album comes just in time for Christmas, though fans are advised to get in quickly, since the disc is strictly limited to just 1000 copies worldwide – 500 on CD and 500 on vinyl.

InMe tour to take in 25 dates in Feb/March 2012

Alternative/metal band InMe are to embark on a huge tour to promote their new album, ‘The Pride’.

The album is due for release in February 2012. At the time of the album’s release, the band will take to the road, visiting a huge selection of small venues, starting at Sheerness Ivy (a tiny venue in a small seaside town, on the Kent coast) and culminating at the Islington Academy in London.

Dan Sartain’s ‘Too Tough To Live’ due in January

Punk ‘n’ roll/rockabilly artiste Dan Sartain is to release a new album in January.

‘Too Tough To Live’ is Sartain’s third commercially available album (sixth overall, including self released and Record Store Day exclusives).  Clocking in at just 19 minues for thirteen songs, it promises to be Sartain’s most uncompromising disc yet.  Even better, ‘Now Now Now’ is a duet featuring The Go-Go’s Jane Wiedlin.
