New video from Brisbane indie-poppers Hey Geronimo

Cult Aussie band Hey Geronimo have issued a new video for their track ‘Dreamboat Jack’.

The clip is one of the greatest videos to surface in 2012, featuring a chase sequence that the band claims “rivals anything in 007: Skyfall’.

Judge for yourselves – the full clip can now be seen below. ‘Dreamboat Jack’ is taken from Hey Geronimo’s self titled EP, released earlier in the year.

Swedish rockers Eclipse have posted a new video on YouTube, which you can now view below.

‘Wake Me Up’ comes from the band’s fourth album 2012’s ‘Bleed & Scream’, which was released by Frontiers Records in August.

Anthrax’s Scott Ian to embark on full tour of the UK/Ireland

Following a successful performance in London where he took the opportunity to relate various tales, Anthrax’s Scott Ian is to embark upon more “speaking” dates across the UK and Ireland next May and June.

The 16 date stint includes a return appearance at London’s Relentless Garage.

Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band to play live in Australia in 2013

It has been confirmed that Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will play a few Antipodean dates in 2013.

Next March, The Boss and his touring company will play four dates in Australia, marking their first live appearances there in a decade.

The four confirmed dates are as follows:

Blur to headline Live Latino 2013 in Mexico

Blur have been confirmed as one of the headline acts at next year’s Vive Latino festival in Mexico.

Next year’s event – to be held in March – also boasts a headline appearance from Morrissey, as well as appearances by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Silversun Pickups, Underworld, Ska-P and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs.

Also in the news this week, Blur have also been confirmed as a headline act at the Norwegian Øya Festival, which will take place at Oslo’s Middelalderparken from August 6th-10th.

Appearing with Blur at the Scandinavian event are Angel Haze and Of Mice & Men. More acts will be announced in the near future.

Blur’s Hyde Park gig from the summer of 2012 was released as a double CD, DVD and lavish box set on December 3rd.
