On October 30th, Swedish prog rock legends The Flower Kings will release their fourteenth studio album ‘Islands’.  Another epic work, the double disc set will be the band’s fifth double album since forming in the 90s.

The third single to be taken from the new record, ‘Morning News’ comes with a video that is a sharp reminder of a time before social distancing, while the music takes on a distinctive jazz-prog vibe.  The jaunty tune is joined by Roine Stolt’s distinctive, accented vocal, which will be enough to reel in fans instantly.  For those looking for huge solos, the track may seem a little slight at first, but a few plays uncovers a pleasing melody, whilst a few musical fills underscoring the arrangement hint at ‘Selling England’ era Genesis.
