Ahead of the release of their debut album ‘Going Home’, indie pop band Tiny Fighter have shared a new video for their single ‘Strangest Thing’.
Combining naturalistic black and white film with moments of animation, the video clip drops the potential fan into a world that has a slightly quirky vibe, but its the music that really counts and in terms of three minute, radio-friendly bangers, ‘Strangest Thing’ has it all.
Soaring guitar lines and a heavy drum collide, setting up something very dramatic early on, but as the track finds its feet, a combination of pop with a Scandinavian flair and a very 90s influenced groove wins out. A heavily accented vocal lends an extra a charm of its own and, overall, it’s a marvellous tribute to the sounds of the late 90s/early 00s that just becomes more infectious with each listen.
In short, this is a fantastic single.
