Brisbane’s Hawkmoon have new album coming out next month.  Ahead of the full release, the Aussie rockers are streaming a new single, ‘Speed of Dark’, which you can hear in full below.

The single promises well for the album, fusing an unsettling psychedelic edge with a stodgy 70s riff, with touches of desert rock.  Those who like it heavy yet melodic, but defiantly retro should certainly get a kick out of the band’s current sound.

The band will be performing at the Red Deer Festival on Saturday 14th October and their album ‘The Saturn Return’ is released on November 10th.
