Saxon frontman and ex-Skid Row vocalist guesting on new project by Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider

Dee Snider is currently working on a new project. He is reworking Broadway tunes in his own image.

The album, entitled ‘Dee Does Broadway’ is currently under construction and does not as yet have a confirmed tracklisting or release date. It has been reported that Saxon mainman Biff Byford and ex-Skid Row mouthpiece Sebastian Bach have made guest appearances.

Snyder says of the new project: “It’s not metal. I’m taking Broadway show tunes and I’m making them rock.”

Earlier in 2011, Snyder made a guest appearance on a metal tribute to Frank Sinatra (read the review here), while a lavish Twisted Sister box set is also forthcoming.
