Legendary Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson is to appear at Canterbury Cathedral this December.
The singer will be appearing alongside Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson and Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues at a fundraising show.
‘Canterbury Rocks at Christmas’ will be held at the nave of the cathedral, and follows last year’s successful show featering Anderson appearing with Greg Lake.
It is said that essential repairs need to be made to the cathedral (considered the most important site in Britain’s Christian heritage) and that approximately £3 million per year must be found to maintain its upkeep.
