Recently, the Gibraltarian hard rock band Breed77 had a major change in their ranks when long-serving vocalist Paul Isola stepped down from his duties as frontman. His replacement, Portuguese singer Rui Lopez has already appeared at a couple of dates, but now fans in the UK will be given the opportunity to see him again when the band take to the road for a full tour to end the year.
Following the live shows for their 2013 album ‘Evil Inside’, vocalist Paul Isola has left Breed 77. It is said he has departed due to “personal reasons”. The band are set to continue with new frontman Rui Lopez.
UK/Gibraltar alt-rockers Breed 77 (aka Breed77) have confirmed another run of dates as part of the ongoing promotion for their 2013 release ‘The Evil Inside’.
In addition to an appearance at the Bloodstock Festival in August, the band also visit more intimate venues up and down the country.
The early releases by Gibraltarian alt-rockers Breed77 (a name they choose to pronounce with a ‘seven-seven’) are very much workman-like affairs, often derivative of many US post-grunge/alternative rock bands. Even with hints of flamenco music colouring their sound, the song writing on those records often lacks the spark needed to make them stand out from the crowd.
