New lengthy interview with Delain’s Charlotte Wessels (August 2012)

Dutch symphonic rock band Delain appeared at the 2012 Wacken Festival in Germany at the beginning of August, as part of the ongoing tour for their third studio release ‘We Are The Others’.

Metal-Trails.com caught up with Delain’s frontwoman Charlotte Wessels to get all the latest news from the band, and you can now view their twenty minute chat below.

‘We Are The Others’ was released via Roadrunner Records in June and provided the band with a top 5 success in The Netherlands.

New Nickelback video with ‘Seinfeld’ star Jason Alexander

Nickelback have released a new video clip for ‘Trying Not To Love You’, the fifth single from their double-platinum 2011 release ‘Here & Now’.

The clip stars ‘Seinfeld’ actor Jason Alexander and Baywatch’s Brooke Burns in a clip that has attracted some very negative criticism, much like everything else featuring Nickelback. In the video, Alexander works at a coffee shop and fantasises about Burns rolling about in coffee beans, in a scene which parodies the iconic dream sequence from the 1999 movie ‘American Beauty’.

You can watch the clip below.

…And then, to make up for it, you can also view a clip of ‘This Means War’, a vastly superior track from the same album, just below that.
