UK death metallers Desecration are back with a new album on June 26th, but before the album drops, they’ve issued a new video clip.
Dry The River to headline King of the Mountains Fest
Heralded by The Guardian newspaper as offering “a glimpse of the pastoral with their semi-acoustic ditties”, Dry The River have been confirmed as the final headline act to appear at the King of the Mountains Festival in July.
The festival held in conjunction with the Tour De Cinema, also features DJ Huw Stephens, Paul Thomas Saunders and REAL GONE favourites Post War Glamour Girls.
Madball: New album details and new track stream
NY hardcore punk legends Madball return in June with a new album, ‘Hardcore Lives’. Initial copies feature two bonus tracks. The full tracklist can be seen below.

FRANKS WILD YEARS – Four EP
After after five years of working and experimenting as a trio, alt-rock band Franks Wild Years added an extra guitarist to their ranks. The dual guitar approach helped the Mancunian outfit – in their own words – “hit upon the right formula”…and listening to the resultant EP ‘Four’, it’s hard to argue with that. They’ve not captured something that not only works, but works wonderfully, with songs possessing not just a depth of character and plenty of opportunity to show off their expanded line-up, but with each also given a more than reasonable send off in the production department.
