Gunslingers – Live At The Butchers Shoppe, Boston, April 7th 2010

Gunslingers were a band who just instinctively knew how to make a ferocious noise.  From their inception through to their split in 2012, the band constantly pushed the boundaries of garage rock, garage punk and no wave/rock in the name of their art.

This recently unearthed live set provides half an hour of the band going at full pelt in Boston, less than eighteen months before their demise.  Unearthed by Opaque Dynamo records and filmed by Sarah Reed, the hazy, lo-fi film puts the fan right in the middle of the action while the band hammers through a set that falls somewhere between an early Jon Spencer set and a heady freakout at the UFO club in London back in 1969.
