For the uninitiated, Hostile are a groove metal band from the West Midlands. Their work values a heavy riff in the tradition of Pantera and Lamb of God and their first two albums were produced by the legendary KK Downing. So far, they’ve shared stages with Megadeth, Soulfly and Machine Head and their career is going from strength to strength.

The band is currently making plans to tour Eastern Europe in 2019 and also release a selection of digital singles.

They’ve just released a new video for ‘Retribution’, which has a superb sound, blending the best elements of Pantera’s trademark groove with Machine Head’s crunch. With new guitarist Adam Vickers now settled in to their ranks, next year looks like it might see Hostile really breaking through.
