Wildhearts’ Ginger + five more artists added to Sonisphere 2011 UK line-up

With only a couple of weeks to go until the big event, six more acts have been added to the UK Sonisphere Festival line-up.

The new additions include five up and coming acts: Feed The Rhino (Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage, Sunday); James Cleaver Quintet (Jagermeister Stage, Sunday); Mad Dog (Jagermeister Stage, Sunday); Spy Catcher (Jagermeister Stage, Saturday); Witchsorrow (Jagermeister Stage, Friday).

The big news is that Ginger (of cult UK band The Wildhearts) will appear on the Bohemia Stage to play a solo set on Saturday.

This year’s Sonisphere Festival (UK) takes place at Knebworth between 8th-10th July.  Headline acts are Metallica, Biffy Clyro and Slipknot.  Also appearing are Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, Limp Bizkit, Motörhead, Bad Religion, Opeth, Sisters of Mercy, The Mars Volta, Airbourne, Paradise Lost and Bill Bailey.
