The Mayhem Cruise, which was due to sail from Miami to the Bahamas between December 7th-12th has been officially cancelled.

The cruise was to have featured headline sets by Lamb of God, Machine Head, Anthrax, Suicide Silence, Hatebreed and Kingdom of Sorrow. According to the organizers, the cruise was cancelled due to “circumstances beyond [our] control”.

Fans can get a full refund to their credit/debit cards from the point of purchase. Organizers have also said that ticket holders will be entitled to a free lifetime pass to the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Summer tour.

Lamb of God’s frontman Randy Blythe is now back in the US after posting a $400,000 bail. He will return to the Czech Republic at a later date, should the ongoing manslaughter case require him to do so.

Anthrax, meanwhile, are working on a selection of cover tunes, which may (or may not) appear on a deluxe edition of ‘Worship Music‘ at a later date.
