Morrissey is to tour the US at the end of 2012 on a long run of dates. Beginning in October, the one-time Smiths frontman and one of the finest songwriters of his generation, will embark on 33 date visit, taking in various cities.

Kristeen Young will open on all dates, except the November 24th show in Los Angeles, CA where Iggy & The Stooges will appear as special guests.

Morrissey’s last album, 2009’s energetic ‘Years of Refusal’, gained some incredibly positive press and reached the top ten in the UK, Belgium, Finland and Sweden. It reached #11 on the US Billboard 200.

To celebrate the label’s tenth anniversary, Australian power pop label Popboomerang have embarked on a very special project. The label will release an expansive 40 track retrospective covering their first ten years.

The track is taken from the Australian indie-pop outfit’s second EP ‘Awkward’, which was released in February 2012.

US groove metallers Lamb of God have released a new video for their single ‘Desolation’ which can be seen below.

The track comes from the band’s best-selling seventh album ‘Resolution’, which was released in 2011. ‘Resolution’ gave the band a top three hit on the US Billboard Chart, as well as breaking the top ten in Finland and Australia. In the UK, the album reached a respectable position, reaching #19.
