At the beginning of March 2018, Oslo trio Spielbergs released the first new music from their upcoming EP ‘Distant Star’. The track and new video blended melody and power in a hugely appealing and retro way, drawing the listener back to the 90s with a world of shimmering guitars.
Ahead of the EP’s release in April – which bodes well for fledgling label By The Time It Gets Dark – the band have unveiled more music. This time audio only, but you can check out the EP’s title cut below. Like the previous track, it manages to combine a big sound with a very user friendly angle which should appeal to lovers of all things with a loud indie rock edge. It’s combination of forthright vocal and punchy bass alone is enough to ensure the track sounds hooky and assured.
