Black Crowes: First 2013 live dates

Following an “indefinite haitus” lasting just under two years, The Black Crowes have announced their return with a run of live dates which sees Chris Robinson and co playing live on both sides of the Atlantic.

In March 2013, The Crowes return to the UK – including two nights at the London HMV Forum in Kentish Town.  The full list of confirmed shows can be seen below.

Devin Townsend: New video interview posted online

In the ongoing touring/promotion cycle for ‘Epicloud’, the Devin Townsend Project performed in Manchester on December 15th.  Prior to the show, Get Your Rock Out caught up with Devin for a chat, which you can now view below.

With the ‘Epicloud’ tour winding down, Townsend will turn his attention to new projects in 2013, a year said to see two separate album releases.

QUEEN: An Alternative Top Ten

Much loved by millions the world over, Queen left us with some great music. Despite their back catalogue being full of jewels, it seems whenever websites celebrate their legacy, we are presented with a hugely predictable trawl through their work, discussing the merits of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘We Are The Champions’, ‘Killer Queen’ et al. Fine tunes indeed, but we’ve all heard them to death – and there’s only so many times their greatest hits can be praised in the name of journalism…
