With a new line up and very melodic approach, the new look Striker sound absolutely fantastic on their current single ‘Deathwish’.  The first new music from the band since their award winning ‘Play To Win’ album in 2018, the new track blends late 80s guitar riffs with a massive AOR chorus, resulting in a performance that calls back to the genre’s glory years.

Fans of the style might hear traces of the more melodic elements of Heavens Edge and Warp Drive on the main hook – a chorus inviting listener participation in the most direct way – and for lovers of smart guitar work, the track doesn’t skimp on that score, either. Between the rousing vocal refrain, the music drops in various horsey squeals and a very busy but concise lead break, filling a huge part of the classic rock arrangement.
