Back in March 2021, Aussie metal band LORD released an expansive covers album, ‘Undercovers, Vol. 1′. The project spanned 23 tracks and for those who bought the download, it also came with two hours’ worth of bonus audio where the band discussed the making of the record.

The release saw LORD putting their stamp on various obvious metal tunes by Metallica, Helloween and others, sharing a liking of AOR and melodic rock (it was hard not to be impressed by their covering Harem Scarem) and even chucked in a couple of pop hits for good measure.

One of those pop tunes, Savage Garden’s ‘To The Moon & Back’ proved very popular with fans and online radio stations, so LORD have issued it as a video single with a smart looking visual clip capturing the nightlife of King’s Cross, a place previously immortalised in the Pet Shop Boys song of the same name.
