New video from Nightspell now online

Following their debut single ‘Sea of Thieves’ Boston’s Nightspell have returned with a great new track ‘Pegasus’. Going even deeper into the band’s world of swirling, dark riffs, the track is a perfect throwback to the sounds of 90s shoegaze.

Driven by Seana Carmody’s heavy guitar sound and a suitably crashy drum part from Joyce Raskin, the brilliantly retro number ranks among the most exciting and authentic sounding tributes to the glory days of the 4AD label. Between the distorted and off-kilter lead guitar interludes, waves of distortion and contrasting floaty vocal, fans of the style may well discover a new favourite tune. It’s certainly paves the way for Nightspell to become one of the most exciting shoegaze/heavy dreampop bands to emerge since A Place To Bury Strangers shared their Fuzz Club session back in 2019.
