The word “cinematic” often gets bandied around when it comes to industrial and electronic music.   It was rarely more relevant, though, than as a suitable adjective for Swiss band H E X, who’ve mixed a heavy, post rock style with an epic, almost industrial sound on their new single ‘Collider’.

The track is an excellent teaser for their forthcoming album ‘H E X’, which is released via Hummus Records on 25th May.

Of the soon to be released material, guitarist/vocalist Laure Betris says: “When I heard the songs for the first time I was stunned. To me, the idea of adding vocals to the songs seemed like the right thing to do. Add to that some twisted compositions, an insane production work, some serious melodic strength, and you get an album like no other.”
