Carter USM’s debut album to get strictly limited vinyl reissue for Record Store Day ’18

Created with the idea of encouraging people back into independent record shops by issuing limited vinyl items by smaller cult bands, it wasn’t long before Record Store Day got utterly hijacked by major labels keen to milk a giant cash cow.  Worse still, RSD stocks have actually been sold by dealers at inflated prices on ebay the day before the event.  It’s hard not to see it as a giant sham.

Still, every so often, RSD throws up an item or two of interest.  This years event will see Carter USM’s debut LP ‘101 Damnations’ made available on vinyl for the first time in over two decades.

Better yet, the strictly limited reissue will come as a black and white splatter coloured vinyl.  The reissue is limited to 1000 copies and they’ll be available at select independent outlets.  As always, we don’t know exactly which ones, so it’s time to get hunting.

Any remaining stocks will be available from the Beggars Banquet online store on Saturday 28th April.

This years Record Store Day takes place on Saturday 21st April.
