New Christmas CD from Marillion

Since the late 90s it has become tradition for Marillion to give their fan club members an exclusive CD. These releases are mixed bag affairs always containing unreleased material, sometimes demo recordings or live recordings. Over the years, these fun items have become treasured by fans.

These releases often contain something festive too – they are issued during the holiday season, after all.

Now, Marillion are giving people outside the fan-club a chance to hear a selection of their festive recordings via a CD release ‘A Collection of Recycled Gifts’. Marvel at a fine recording of ‘Gabriel’s Message’, laugh at a jaunty re-recording of ‘Marbles’ as ‘Erin Marbles’, feel festive with the more traditional ‘Let It Snow’ and enjoy a previously unreleased cover of John Lennon’s ‘Happy Christmas (War Is Over’).

‘A Collection of Recycled Gifts’ is not available in shops. It’s available exclusively from the band’s official website at the link below…and does not come with a free Ronco tin-opener.
