2012 marks the 40th anniversary of Deep Purple’s 1972 career-defining release ‘Machine Head’. In addition to the band releasing a multi-disc, super-audio deluxe box set of the original album, various other noted rock stars have combined their talents on an upcoming tribute record.

‘Re-Machined’ features each of the songs from ‘Machine Head’ performed by members of Metallica, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard and more. A twenty five minute “behind the scenes” look at the album has been posted on YouTube and can now be viewed below.
