Anthrax’s long-awaited ‘Worship Music’ lands in September – free download of new track!

Anthrax’s long-awaited tenth studio disc, ‘Worship Music’ will finally be released on 10th September.

The album has had a long and somewhat troubled creation. Initially the release was to feature vocals by Dan Nelson, the fourth Anthrax frontman. Copies of ‘Worship Songs’ featuring Nelson had supposedly made it out to a few select people close to the band, although this is not 100% confirmed. It was later rumoured that former vocalist John Bush would re-record Nelson’s vocals for the subsequent official release of the album.

After touring with the band once again in the summer and autumn of 2010, Anthrax’s second – and arguably most famous – vocalist Joey Belladonna officially rejoined the band. The completed version of ‘Worship Music’ will feature the line-up of Joey Belladonna (vocals), Scott Ian (guitars), Rob Caggiano (guitars), Frank Bello (bass), Charlie Benante (drums).

‘Worship Music’ is the first Anthrax studio album to feature Belladonna since 1990’s classic ‘Persistence of Time’.

Confirmed track listing: Fight ’em ’til You Can’t / I’m Alive / Judas Priest / Crawl / Earth on Hell / The Devil You Know / In The End / The Giant / Down Goes The Sun

It is not yet known whether there will be a special edition of the album containing bonus materials.
